So awesome!!
Just so you know...you were so awesome today during our dissection. It makes me so proud that you were squimish for the first few minutes then you were totally into it!! It was very rewarding for me to listen to your conversations as you dissected. You all sounded so genuinely excited. I am so very proud of each of you & I'm proud of all of us together...who knew the amazing 804 would come this far!
I will try my best to pop up to room 10 this week if I can.

Checking In
Hope your study weekend is going well thus far!
Please take some time to pull your Science journals together if I have not assessed them yet. Please take some time to make a little kit of materials that you will need for the week (pencils, good eraser, scientific calculator that can perform squares/square roots, small ruler if you have one).
Here is a breakdown of what the week ahead looks like:
Mon:
Ma: Pythag activity
Sci: a bit of Math review if time
Tues:
Ma: Pythag check in (15 mins); a bit of review time
Sci: lenses/vision
Wed:
Cells & Systems PBA
Topics covered
-microscope structure/function
-plant/animal cell
-hyper/iso/hypotonic
-osmosis
-circulatory system
Math PBA
Topics covered
-integers
-fractions
-ratios
-decimals-percent-fractions
Thurs:
Mix & Flow PBA
Topics covered
Density
calculations
viscosity
buoyancy
Classifying Matter (pure sub: element/compound; mixtures: homogeneous/solution; heterogeneous/mechanical mixture)
Math PBA
-solving linear equations (Algebra)
-linear relations
Fri:
flexible depending on assembly/drop schedule
Mon June 22
eyeball dissection!!!
Tues-Fri
skills analysis/activities ****I won't see you very much this week due to PATs :(

Pythag. Work
Big work day tomorrow in class for the double...Pythag./Square Roots/Perfect Squares etc.
Hope studying is going well...Mix & Flow & Cells Unit, Algebra, Linear Relations, Integers, & Fractions for PBAs June 17th & 18th.
I will need to grab journals in small batches during my prep (your Hum class) and at lunch and a few after your PBAs. Thanks for helping me with this...I appreciate it.
You were awesome in class today...proud of you.
Please ensure that you have a calculator in class these days...pretty tough to calculate square roots without one. Thanks for attending to this asap.
