Body Systems presentations need to be shared to me via google docs by 8 am.  We will start in period 1 with Body Systems presentations then do our Scavenger Hunt of 3D shapes.

Math & Science Update

Body systems presentations will happen on Wednesday.  Please ensure that your presentation has been shared with me via google docs.  Ensure that your handout/questionnaire is ready for me to collate them by the end of class tomorrow.

Math...please bring a new journal for Surface Area.  Today, we started to work on Orthographic Drawings of 3D shapes.  Here is the video that we watched in class.

Remember your lab reports are due on March 3.  If you missed the day we went over the sections of a lab report, please ensure that you check in and get the notes from a friend.

Humanities

We have started our study of the Aztecs with a map of Mexico which is due tomorrow.  If you have not yet completed it please do it for homework.

You will have one more class to work on your comic strip of 6 panels illustrating a sixties song.
It is due on Thursday.

Math & Science Update

Rates/Ratios/Percents exam is tomorrow...the percent check in was reviewed one-on-one with each student today in class.  Students have their check in and need to bring them to class tomorrow.

Ensure that you are working through the review materials in the textbook as well as going over the many examples from class in your journals.

Body systems poster is due tomorrow for the open house.  Presentations are happening Wed Feb 25th.

Lab report is due March 3rd.

Budget project is due Friday Feb 20th.

Math Exam is Thursday for Rates/Ratios/Percents...please be working through the reviews in the textbook.

Please create a question involving discount & sales tax and the answer as well.  You will be challenging a class mate with your question.

Please read over the Osmosis Egg lab in your textbook so you have an idea of the theory & questions.

Report Cards & other tidbits

REPORT CARDS and some extra IMPORTANT tidbits!

Report cards went home today. Make sure to read your comments and take the feedback in from your teachers, so you can make new learning goals for the new semester.

Your report card folder (only the folder) needs to be returned ASAP, signed.

Please make sure that you have looked over Combining Percents to get ready for next week.

You have a nice short week to look forward to followed by a 5 day weekend!

We need to hit the Math hard & finish up the unit.  Expect a Unit Exam for Rates/Ratios/Percent next week...not sure which day.
